Kyle the Chatbot

This was my first attempt at making some sort of chatbot. I had gotten this idea in light of the constant AI controversy in present-day society.  I wanted to make a more ethically sound chatbot that runs its AI locally on the user's computer rather than on an external provider.  Using an Ollama model named dolphin3 in my example, Kyle processes all conversations locally on-device rather than a cloud API. 

Since the AI runs locally on your machine, you would have to download an Ollama model yourself to make Kyle come to life. The best part about this kind if implemetation is you can make Kyle any kind of chatbot you want to! The specific model I used in the video demo can be found here  -Example Model-  but you can use any other model you see fit!

*AI Disclosure*

This project uses a locally hosted AI model to generate chatbot responses in real time. The AI is an Ollama model that runs on the user's own machine rather than a cloud-based service.

All UI, programming, and the model are separate from the generated responses.
